Shipping
*** Minimum is only (5) plants per order ***
We will not be shipping for 2018
PAYMENT TERMS, SHIPPING AND WARRANTIES
Tomato plants are only 6.50 to 8.50 each
This includes all packing and freight within Texas*
*Extremely rural and out of state may require additional freight$$$
All plants are individually labeled (most correctly :)
From 2016:
"Due to the large number of earlier orders to be processed,
orders placed after January 22nd
will need to be shipped the second full week of March; 3/14-3/16
What can I say...You should have ordered sooner!!!
First come, first shipped."
*** I don't mean to be too much of an 'ol fuddy, but unfortunately many orders are rejected each year from folks only wanting to order one or two plants... with the combined costs of packing, freight, and the plants themselves I only net @ $8 on shipping five plants, sometimes less; so five plants please -give out any 'extras' as gifts :)
By placing an order you have indicated
that you have read this page in full.
You agree to all my little idiosyncrasies; any deviations may result
in my shipping you a warm steamy gift from my neighbor's llama pasture.
Texas-Heirloom-Tomatoes has never accepted or processed
any order consisting of all red colored fruiting varieties.
It's a principle thing… Come on; try just ONE - of ANY OTHER color - is that too much to ask?
If you insist on ordering only red fruited varieties, see above.
Texas-Heirloom-Tomatoes will accept orders from out of state…
Minimum orders still apply.
Allow a minimum of six weeks from order date to shipping.
All O.O.S. orders must be shipped second day Fed Ex or UPS and this is REALLY expensive!
I will calculate an approximate increase and notify you asap, if you accept I will bill you through Paypal.
IMPORTANT: All orders must have a reachable e-mail address... I wish I could make phone numbers manditiry, but unfortunatley i cannot... I like to send an order confirmation note ...if your personal e-mail address is different -some folks steal time from their employers, ordering from work and I can't 'reply' through some of those filters...
SO... an e-mail or a phone numbermust be included with your order.
Sorry, but if I can't contact you promptly I may have to cancel / refund your order!
We are constantly battling server conflicts, spam catchers and firewalls blocking our attempts to contact folks when trying to thank you for your order, or ask questions if any. And it sure is frustrating when we are trying to send out a notice that your plants are shipping and we can’t get through…
It’s Not My Fault!!! I’m tired of fightin’ it, I’ll just put on my 'ol fuddy pants and refund your money.
If you haven’t received a confirmation within 4 business days of placing your order

(every year I get a couple of folks that will ramble on so long they run out of time; other folks can't call in because the 'machine is full') I offer as many 'Tips' as i can on that page - and i do not recommend specific varieties - please see the FAQ's page which answers most :)
I will return your call and take your order personally
Sorry, I do not print a catalog, too expensive.

SHIPPING
All orders are shipped U.P.S. or Fed Ex second (occasionally third) day ground.
I ship out Monday through Wednesday to assure arrival by Friday.
Sorry, no P.O. Boxes please.
Absolutely no guarantees or refunds on orders to P.O. Boxes or EXTREMELY rural addresses.
Whenever possible
I HIGHLY recommend shipping to a business / commercial address.
UPS and Fed Ex prioritize these packages over residential; and it is preferable for your box of tender little-ones to be brought indoors, rather than be left outside to either bake, or perhaps freeze :(
Overnight and Rush Orders are gladly accepted for additional $$$, with at least 48 hr. notice.
I will send out a notice, sometimes not until late evening, on the day your order ships - to the email address your order was placed from (see above) - saying 'Maters on the way' or the like. UPS is pretty good about 'next daying' deliveries to San Antonio, Austin and points nearest... I have heard from many folks coming home to a box on their porch, then checking their email and seeing the notice. Some of these folks have sunny porches and have 'issues', some boxes have been stolen (raccoons getting an early jump I suppose)... either way, many good reasons for the delivery to a commercial address.
I.E. = I live'out in the styx', a mile away from my mailbox... anything important I ship to a friends business, the local Pet Shop, in Boerne - while there I collect my package, visit with my amigo
and pick up snacks for my wolf;
One of the many reasons I am not open to the public... 'Snuggles' doesn't like strangers
PICKING UP...not that easy, sorry. We are not open to the public.
Folks in San Antonio and adjacent areas are welcome to stop by and visit us
when we are out and about at local plant shows/markets during the months of March and April.
Check the 'News' page for the places and dates where we will be.
Placing your order early is the only way to reserve a specific variety.
Though we will have plenty of quality 'maters at these sales, we can't bring 'everything', and the more eclectic the variety the fewer we grow.
SUBSTITUTIONS: I don't like 'em.
When a variety sells out quickly or 'craps out' though,
you may wish for the next-best similar variety (our choice) or a refund.
Please indicate appropriately when you order.
SOLD OUT: Most varieties are produced in fairly small quantities, only 15-100 plants each,
plus I get first pick! Order early to assure the availability of the heirloom tomatoes you have chosen.
First shipments of most varieties should be available by the first or second week of March, weather permitting.
The second week is usually Spring Break, if you will be out of town or for any other reason would prefer not to receive your plants at this time please note accordingly when you order.
WARRANTY All plants are shipped in the best possible condition I can offer. I won't ship a plant that I wouldn't buy myself. Occasionally orders may arrive in a less than acceptable condition. I simply ask "What did you do?" Seriously, 'mistakes' happen in the shipping stages. Notify me within 48 hours of arrival by phone or email and I will do my best to replace those plants damaged. Unfortunately I can not refund shipping fees on these rare replacement orders.
Replacement orders are limited to available stock on hand.
No other warranties are expressed or implied. Just my word, to do my best for you.
